follow these simple steps to get started! find a place to play. university libraries with wi-fi are typically the best places to organize critical threat games, but you can organize an event at other locations such as any school, library, or community center. from just printing out the briefing documents find collection managers. recruit from among your friends, interested players in your locally, or use social media and other online community groups to get collection managers for your event. advertise your event. post flyers in nearby stores, schools, and community centers. auc3i has online events and that allow players to register for games. use social media to promote your event as well! prepare event materials. you’ll need things like blank sheets of paper, collection techniques, reality checks documents, event registration, and copies of the pre-generated intelligence problems you’re featuring at the event.

first (single player mode) review the intelligence problems on the home page - new problems come in every day assigned at 2:pm east africa time (eat) as in real life. you will – review intelligence problems by (clicking on the description text on the homepage) then reading the news background report. this is your starting point. you will also have to familiarize yourself with the various collection techniques provided; you will then use them to solve the intelligence problem.

aci numbers are only required when playing ct where you upload the collection strategy and analysis for review. if you have an existing aci number, you may record it on your document each upload. additionally, you can record the aci number of the collection managers you play with.
the game documents are there to teach you how to collect and analyze data. there are go-and-get-it tasks contained in the documents also free tools to help you present and analyze the data you report about, and you have to write about your collection strategies to show us that you have solved the intelligence problem. this is where we will back stop and test your results. pass and the respect, payment and badge are yours
